I'm not sure why my paragraphs aren't showing up. Hope you can ready my big neverending paragraph!
I have a lot of updating to do. We have been very busy this summer. Going non-stop most days it seems like. It's the norm for us in the summer, go go go.
We had a great trip with Robert, Lisa and Granny Lou. We saw some beautiful fireworks, ate (TOO MUCH) good food and really enjoyed one another.
Work has been good for both of us. Jonathan get another bonus a few weeks back. I have been given the task of setting up an online technical library for our entire company. I have set up the website and am in the tedious process of going through, scanning, uploading and organizing files now. I don't think it will ever end. But it is nice to have the confidence of my boss to go do it. He has been gone all month so far and will be in for a week them go again, so I've been doing it more or less alone.
My book club is currently reading, My Sister's Keeper. We will get together at our house next Saturday to talk about it and watch the movie. I have already seen the movie, but am very surprised how different the book is so far. I am always amazed at how much detail is left out from the books in movies.
I went and saw The Twilight Saga: Eclipse last week with my friends Vanessa and an intern, Lindsey. It was SO corny but I loved it. It is amazing how this love story gets you wrapped up in it and you don't care that they are talking about werewolves and vampires. Or maybe that's just me! :)
Jonathan is playing Ultimate Frisbee with the New Hire Network/Summer Interns at COP. He comes home red faced every Monday. It it basically full contact football, but played without pads and with a Frisbee instead of a ball. I don't get it. But he really enjoys it. I spend Monday nights getting to watch The Bachelorette. The fluff TV I wouldn't watch with Jonathan around because he would be making comments the entire time.
We got a set of golf clubs for me/Jonathan this week. I will use them when we are both playing, but otherwise Jonathan will use them when he plays. They are a used set that a co-worker of his was wanting to sell. It is a Big Bertha set with a Nike bag. I'm ready to go. I have been wanting to go every night this week, but it hasn't worked out yet. But it will soon!!
I am going shopping this Saturday with a girlfriend in Albuquerque. I can't wait. I am finally getting to drive my new car outside of Farmington, which I've been dying to do, and also getting to go shopping. It's been too long since I've been to a good mall. I go to the Farmington mall about once every couple of months. Each time I go, I think maybe I will find something and it won't be too bad. Then I don't go back for two months. It's really horrible. Especially for a girl who loves to shop. Jonathan loves this fact though.
I am getting ready to start our Vegas trip scrapbook. All the pictures are printed and somewhat organized. Just need to get going on the paper and thinking about pages. I'm hoping to get it started soon, but I may have to put it off until August so I can have time to spend on it.
Two weeks from yesterday a lot of family will be joining us in Farmington. My mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law, and nieces Addison and Breckyn. Whew, worn out just typing all that!! I am SO excited and can hardly wait! It's going to be a fun time. I am trying to let the obsessive planner in me relax and let the trip be relaxing, but I'm having a hard time fighting the urge. I am relaxed when I have something to do. I don't get much relaxation out of sitting around in a peaceful environment. But I'm trying!
Not missing the rain and humidity in Oklahoma! It has been near 100 degrees out here this week, but with no humidity. It is hot, but bearable. We actually had some rain last night and I could hardly handle the humidity from 20 minutes of rain. 2 years and I've already forgotten 23 years of humidity!!
Love you all!!

Crazy June and July (so far)

June and July have been packed full of fun so far. We had a great trip with Robert, Lisa & Granny Lou over the Fourth! Have had a few BBQ's at our house and more to come. This weekend I'm going shopping in the big city, Albuquerque, with some girlfriends. Next weekend we have the book club at our place, My Sister's Keeper, and the following week my family will be in town. Busy month, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
More posts to come. I'll try and get back to writing more. Summertime is crazy!
Love you, miss you!!

I got my teethed cleaned today. It looks like I'll be getting my wisdom teether taken out sometime after August. Maybe not until after my next appointment in January, but they have to come out I think. My upper right tooth has broken through. I have no pain, but my mouth wouldn't fit the teeth if they decide to come in further. Not excited about it. I have a great hygenist and she just got her's taken out 3 weeks ago, because she had too, and she helped me feel better about it.

We have a COP pool party this summer. It's one that happens every summer at a geologists house with a nice pool and grass volley ball court. They are a lot of fun and I can't wait to enjoy the pool!!

Friday night I think we're going to try and head to Durango again and have a nice dinner for my birthday. I can't decide between sushi, italian or trying a french restaurant.

It looks like it's going to be a fun weekend.

Things...

Our wedding scrapbook is done. I am very happy with it! I can't wait to show it off.

Jonathan played in a golf tournament Thursday and Saturday. He had a lot of fun, but it worn out from being the the heat/sun for a few days.

We took his intern, Taylor, up to Durango for sushi Friday night. It was very good. It had been a while since we'd eaten it.

I had a book club meeting last night and we decided our next 4 months books. Next is "My Sister's Keeper". I just saw the movie and was going to read the book anyways so I suggested it. We'll have it sometime in July at our house and watch the movie too.

I'm getting pictures together to start on the honeymoon scrapbook soon. I don't have a lot of pictures that I want to use for it so it should take as much time as the wedding did. Then, onto our Vegas trip. That one will be huge like the wedding if I use all the pictures I have picked out now.

Today is going to be pretty relaxing I think. Jonathan need to mow the backyard and I need to finish cleaning up after the mess I made with all my papers, stickers and things I layed out everywhere.

Latest...

The yard is getting there. We got a small Green Japanese Maple and planted it in the flower bed on the left and the grass is filling in. We fought the wind all afternoon, but it looks great.
Daphne will no longer be jumping the fence...without a shock that is, so the grass should come in great now. In other news, Jonathan's summer intern will arrive in town Friday. She is a freshman at OU. He's excited.
He had a great trip to Houston and we're both glad he's back home.
My scrapbook is coming along great. Only the finishing touches remaining. I got burnt out after a week long push to make progress so I'll kick it up again soon and finish it up.
We're going camping this weekend. First time with the new camper, and first of the year. Hoping for nice weather in Colorado.

Jonathan is off to Houston for the week. I'm planning on scrapbooking most evenings this week and making some progress. It's getting there slowing. The major work is almost done, then starts the fun decorating and embellishments.

Hoping all OK family it surviving all the crazy weather it seems like Oklahoma is having. I'll take a dust storm any day over hail and tornadoes.

Yard Progress

The grass is finally coming in. We're blocked the pup from the yard and it's amazing how well it will grow without constant digging and running on it.
