Jonathan and I leave for Oklahoma in two days! I'm ready and excited to go. We'll be all over the state that week of Thanksgiving. It's going to be great to see family again. Most of them we haven't seen since our wedding in May.
After we return to New Mexico Jonathan will be back in Norman for a few days with COP. He'll be at OU as a mentor with COP to engineering students. He'll be back every so often doing that.

Senior Adult Choir Hip Hop (Short Version)
This video is hilarious and ridiculous! I can't believe they actually sang those songs.

Where does the time go?
This week has been crazy, and it's only Wednesday. Luckily, I don't think it can get any crazier so it should be calm and relaxing.
We found out this weekend that we will be inheriting basically an entire house worth of furniture from my fabulous in-laws. After moving, and storing it for a while they are finally ready to be rid of it and we are really excited to help them. We've been trying to figure out what we're going to do with the new and the few things we have now in out duplex. We will be out of here in May, so we may end up living in "storage" for a few months. It will be well worth it. We've always been trying to figure out how we're going to get it from Oklahoma to New Mexico. We've decided we have to rent a truck to get it here. That means we will be driving back from Oklahoma in separate vehicles after Thanksgiving. I wasn't happy about that idea at all, but I knew its what had to be done. I enjoy sleeping on those trips most of the time, and letting Jonathan drive and that works. Luckily, my parents didn't like the idea of it either and have offered to get us a hotel for a night so we can rest. Yay!
Jonathan left this morning for Houston. He'll be there for a few days for some training. So, I'm stuck at the house. The days are fine, I'm used to Jonathan being gone working then, but the nights are hard, it can get boring and lonely without him around and with nothing really to do. I've been keeping myself busy cleaning, doing my nails, etc. :)
I also found out this evening that there will be 3 wedding I have to attend in May & June of '09. I don't know how this is going to work. 1- May 2nd., 2- May 23rd., 3- June 13th. That's going to be craziness. Hopefully I'll have a job by then and we can afford to fly back or I don't know how we're going to do that.
Jonathan will be back Saturday afternoon. Yay! And we will get his clothes cleaned and begin getting everything ready for our trip to Oklahoma. We'll leave Friday morning, probably around 3-4 a.m. Ugh!!!! :( I'm lucky I have a wonderful husband who loves driving and doesn't mind me sleeping when it's still dark outside. I have been promised that I'll get to drive the truck on the way to OK since I've only ever driven it on city streets and don't know where anything is on the truck other than radio and temp. I don't want to be on the interstate fiddling with stuff.

The week so far
It seems like Jonathan and I have been busy this week, but when I look back at the week so far, we really haven't.
We watched Fox News pretty much non-stop Monday and Tuesday waiting to see who our next President would be. I was tense and nervous those two days especially. Maybe that's why this weeks feels so long.
We woke up to a freezing day Wednesday. Soon after Jonathan got to work he called me making sure I knew about the SNOW that was falling like a blizzard outside. It didn't last long once the sun came out, but it was fun to see the first snow of the season in Farmington.
Tonight we braved the freezing temperature (41 degrees) and found a nice spot to take our Christmas card photo. I can't wait to get them printed and see what they look like. I'm excited to have our first Christmas card together. :)
Jonathan will be in Houston next week for a few days. (Wed. - Sat.) He hates going to Houston, I would too, but its just a few days this time. I'm afraid he's going to come back with serious allergy problems, hopefully not!!!
We will be heading to O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A soon!! (I'm excited) We will be there from the 21st. - 30th. We realized this week that Jonathan will be back in Norman on Dec. 3rd. I'm hoping we can figure out a way with COP to let us stay in OK those extra few days. That would be better for Jonathan and fun for me. Otherwise, we'll drive from OKC to Farmington Dec. 30th. and Jonathan will fly back to OKC on Dec. 2 or 3. Seems pointless, but we'll see what happens. He is a "mentor" with COP for OU. He'll be back in Norman occasionally to help future employees with questions about the company, etc.

Halloween Weekend and more...
We went to a Halloween party at another COP's house last night. It was a good time. There weren't too many people we new there, so we didn't stay too long. It was a costume party, and we hadn't planned any costumes and sort of decided to go last minute. We were scrambling around the house for a while, trying to find costumes. I destroyed out bedroom with clothes everywhere. We finally decided on Jonathan as a beach bum and I was a construction worker. They turned out pretty well, considering when we decided to make them up. :) Before we headed to the party we had a TON of trick-or-treaters. We had two hundred pieces of candy and within an hour it was all gone. Craziness, but it was fun seeing them dressed up and having fun.
Today, Jonathan has been gone since 9am getting firewood with a friend. He just called and they plan to be back around 5pm. They drove 1 hr. 1/2 for this wood. I think that's crazy, but whatever. He told me all he's had to eat today was two bags of peanuts so I'm preparing to make his a big meal when we gets home so he can finally eat and watch some OU football.
I'm very excited that I've turned my calendar to November and I see how close our trip to Oklahoma is! I can't wait!!! Also our 6 month wedding anniversary is this month. My mom informed me of this and I cannot believe it's already been six months. It seems like we just got married and move out here. The year mark is going to soon! Yay!!
