Vacation Time

We have booked our vacation!!

We're going on a 6 day Western Carbibbean cruise starting May 15th!!! I'm SO excited!!

We will be seeing Key West, FL, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, & Ochos Rios, Jamacia. Our port city if Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

CAN"T WAIT!!!

No more trench maze in the backyard after tomorrow. The spinklers work!!!

I have scrapbooked for a while today. The wind is blowing hard and Jonathan's allergies need a break, so he's inside playing video games. I've taken over the coffee table with all my stuff. My back is killing me though from sitting hunched over. Didn't think that one through very well.

I've decided I have a hard life!! I can't decide if I want to go to dinner in Durango or stay in Farmington and go to the movie. Such hard decisions!!! Hope we make it through these hard times!! :) (Just kidding of course)

Jonathan's out back digging up our yard to put in sprinklers. Too bad he didn't do this last summer before we planted the grass.

I have thought about this one all day. I couldn't think of anyone I would want to trade places with. Finally I thought of someone who I am slightly jealous of....

Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel. I would LOVE to be able to go to all of the places she visits, stay where she stay, eat where she eats and all on someone else's dime!! :) I think I would trade places with her for a year!! Ha!!!

I attended most OU home games while at OU with Jonathan and friends. The games are so much fun, especially in the student section. Even the times Jonathan made me stay in the rain or heat, it was so much fun!!!

Miranda and I have been great friends since 6th grade. We became very close in high school and were roommates our freshman year of college before we went to OU and OSU. No we're both married and loving life.

Day 1

I've decided I'll do want many others I've seen are doing. 60 Days of me. I'll try and keep up with a daily post, but may fall behind. Some days will be fun, some serious, some just because. Hope you enjoy.

Day 1

1) I enjoy travlling to new places. I can't wait to see more places around the Four Corners this year.

2) Taking a drive through the mountains sounds like a perfect afternoon to me.

3) I love watching movies. I can watch some over and over and never be tired of them.

4) I work at a generator service company called TurboCare Generator Services. They are part of Siemens Corporation. I work for the marketing department and am the assistant to the VP of Marketing and love my job, mostly because of my awesome boss. We basically talk back to one another all day while getting lots of stuff done, it's a good time. He is the Global Marketing Boss for our offices in Canada, Poland, South America, Asia, Middle East and North America. This means I am also the marketing assistant for the global generator group. It is a hectic job at times. I do some assistant type duties like travel arrangements, but mostly I create reports on all of our bookings and projects we have quoted. My work is being shared with many people that are the running our company so it's pretty exciting.

5) I am in a book club and we're currently reading "The Help". It's a good read. I had a hard time starting it, but I'm about half way into it now and am enjoying it. It takes place during the Civil Rights Movement and is about the help for many upper-class white families in the south.

6) I love good food. I've had lots of amazing food since moving to the Four Corners. I'm becoming a food snob.

7) I love shopping. Living in Farmington has gotten that under control a bit since there is no place to shop here. I need some good stores near by!!!

8) I have become a scrapbooker over the past year or so. I've completed our wedding, honeymoon and the Vegas portion of our vacation 2010.

9) I love waking up early and having the quiet of the house all to myself.

10) Lastly, I have a the most wonderful husband a girl could ask for. I feel more blessed daily to have him in my life.

Jonathan is home from San Antonio. I have had a long, busy, week at work and am worn out. Glad it's the weekend.
