We had a great river float 2 weekends ago. It took 5 hours, was cloudy and a little chilly at first, but really fun. I got very minimal sunburns on the top of my right foot and random spot where sunscreen was missed. Much better than the crispy red I was expecting.
Jonathan and team got 3rd place in a golf tournament the day before. He got a really nice set of whiskey glasses with the tournament logo on them. One of his teammates, who had only played 2-3 times when she was about 10 one closet to the pin for the ladies. They had a lot of fun.
We went to ABQ this Saturday and Jonathan got himself a new guitar. It is really beautiful and sounds great. It is an acoustic electric. Now we just need to get the right amp for it. I'm enjoying it much more than the electric. The walls don't shake as much with this one! :)
We're going bowling tonight. It's 2-4-Tuesdays and a friend has a lot of free game tickets.
We can't decide what we want to do this weekend. The area is having a huge biker rally all over from Farmington up to Telluride. Pretty much every town in between will be packed with people so there aren't a lot of places available. We'll figure something out, even if it's just a day trip. Ready for the 3 day weekend!!

Great weekend, camping Friday night in Ouray CO. Left a day early since the trails we wanted to hike we couldn't bring out dog on. The website said nothing about no pets, so we thought we were good. Nice drive through Telluride and more Saturday on the way home. Sunday, sushi in Durango and shopping at Ralph Lauren outlet. This week dinner and Eat Pray Love movie with my book club girls Tuesday. Next weekend Jonathan has a golf tournament and floating the river Sunday (hopefully I won't get too crispy!!)

Spicy Sausage Spaghetti and homemade chocolate ice cream with marshmallows. Great night!
We found out yesterday that my best friend and one of Jonathan's good friend, Chuck and Emily who we went to Vegas with in March, are moving to Australia in a month and switching companies. I'm excited for them, but kind of sad, but mostly excited. I had a rough day yesterday. Felt like every time I make really great friends here they move away. Luckily I have a wonderful husband who is able to show me the bright side of any situation.
We are going camping this weekend. Heading out Friday after work. No desitnation determined at this point. Don't know if anyone will be joining us. Should be a fun time!!

We Survived
Farmington was flash flood central last night. About 7:30pm the rain started, hard and fast. It ended about 9:00pm. Jonathan has gone to the front yard in his rain suit to check everything out and ended up helping push a neighbors car up the road to their driveway in waste to knee deep water. The town is a mess and there is damage all over, but we survived with no damage to anything.
I have no pictures. The camera went missing at the time, but we had water up, over our front curb about 5 feet into our yard, covering our cactus.
Here's a picture of the house is that gives you and idea of about how high the water got.
__________
I thought this title was appropriate to continue saying we survived have my parents, Kim, Travis and 2 nieces at our place for almost 5 days! It was a fun visit and glad they all got to come out.
Jonathan will be on call this weekend so we'll be around town, doing very little most likely. We need to get all our camper features working before our camping trip in Colorado in September!! So I think we'll be busy with that.
Everything else is great with us!
