We're heading out for Yellowstone Thursday morning and returning next Monday. We'll be relaxing Tuesday before returning to work. Possibly recovering and getting massages too.

We had a good BBQ at our house Saturday evening and friends and Jonathan's work friends. Sunday we thought we would golf but it got very hot (I know Oklahoma's hotter) and stayed home to make fresh corn salsa, fresh regular salsa and tomato bisque with tomatoes from a friends garden. I'll make some fresh spaghetti sauce and freeze it tomorrow night with the remaining 10 or so.

Campsite is reserved, days off taken from work, kennel booked for the bear bait and now we wait!! Yellowstone here we come!

Enjoying the cooler weather in Farmington. It's rainy season so most evenings are in the low 60's and rain.

Jonathan and I went to ABQ last weekend for a shopping trip. We cleaned out our closets and dressers and took almost 7 full garbage bags to Goodwill.

We've got a COP pool party this Saturday if it doesn't get rained out.

We're planning a Yellowstone trip for Labor Day weekend. We'll take a 4 night camping trip there. Should be a great time. We'll leave Daphne at home since everything I've read says she's bear bait. :)

Everything's great with us. Staying busy and enjoying the summer.

We made it back to Farmington after our weekend in OK. We had a good drive and are glad to be home. Now we have tomorrow to recover and get a few things done around the house before work on Thursday.

We had a good visit with my parents last weekend. We're heading to NE OK this weekend fo the 4th. It's the first roadtrip with the pup. Finger-crossed that it all goes well!

Once we return we don't have anything planned for a while. I'm sure that will change quickly.

We're heading to Moab,UT / Arches National Park tomorrow and will return Sunday. We decided this sounded like a fun weekend. I was annoyed because dogs aren't allowed on the trails so we had to find something to do with Daphne. Luckily a friend from work offered to come by a couple of times tomorrow to let her out to potty, feed her, etc. We decided since there's no Daphne we'd get a hotel instead of the pop-up.

Should be a fun trip!!

I gave in today and bought myself a Cricut.

 It's basically a paper die cutter machine. It is AWESOME. I've been borrowing a friends since I started scrapbooking but decided it was time to invest.

Now my cartriage collecting begins! :)
